YOUNG JEEZY TALKS TO MCCAIN

EVERYONE VOTE FOR OBAMA.........MCAIN IS GONING TO BE 10 TIMES WORSE THAN BUSH...DONT WANNA GET INTO POLITICS BUT I SAW THIS AND ALL I CAN SAY IS F@#K MCCAIN!!!!!!..... OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT !!!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

John McCain’s cool but he looks like a fraud to me said Young Jeezy recently. So it’s no mystery as to who he will vote for in the presidential elections. The trapper recently spoke out about his political views and his meeting with John McCain.

Barack, he has a lot of things going for him. He’s ahead of his time. Given the right chance, he’ll make some type of change. We’ll feel it. I really feel that he told MTV.

This year, Jeezy appeared on Saturday Night Live on the same evening that John McCain hosted the program. So when they met one another some questions were asked

I told him the hood was fucked up and he was like, How you doing? he says of their encounter. Real talk. They know entertainers, so they shake your hand and say I’m your friend. But my mama is about to have surgery that I gotta pay for out of my pocket because she can’t get insurance. I don’t really feel McCain. It ain’t just because Barack is black he can make change. Just like Bush equals recession, Barack equals progression. I really feel that, all bullshit aside. He’s gotta come in and keep it right.

So what does Barack Obama do for him?

I be in the hood every day, and I motivate the thugs. Barack motivates me. To see somebody taking that extra mile. like, Okay, I can make some change. That’s how I felt when I got in the rap game. I felt I could make change. I did.

Jeezy’s Prime Minister mixtape is out now and his new album, The Recession will be out later this year. Reports indicate it will be out in August.

MOS DEF ALLEGDY HITS......

Superhead is a pioneer. Not at what one might think upon hearing her name, but at writing “tell all” books about her experiences with some of hip-hop’s biggest names. Following in her footsteps is Mos Def’s estranged wife, Alana Wyatt-Smith. In her memoir, “Breaking The Code Of Silence,” Wyatt-Smith dishes on her encounters with Kanye West and an alleged violent altercation that prompted the end of her relationship with Mos.

The former stripper/video vixen and Canada native told the Toronto Star about her and Mos’ quick courtship and first public appearance. “He had asked me if I would attend a MuchMusic performance featuring Kanye West. Now, that was a little awkward because a year prior I had met Kanye in Vegas and we had a moment! NOT SEXUAL! I REPEAT, KANYE WEST and I NEVER have had sexual relations. Much to my surprise, Mos introduced me as his wife.”

The couple wed the very next day in 2005 at the Toronto City Hall. “There were stories that we may have been on drugs when we got married…it was true honest love at first sight; although it took me a while to get to know him, and I think it was more in his heart that it was in mine. I kind of went along with it,” said Wyatt-Smith.

During the next six weeks, the duo attended New York Fashion Week, the MTV Video Music Awards, purchased a home, and separated.

Wyatt-Smith claims that a violent incident in Brazil is what made her file for divorce from the socially conscious rapper.

“I don’t believe that his intent was to hurt me, I believe that he was trying to prove a point,” she said. “But I had shared and cried with him many nights about my past (abusive) situation and I asked of him not to do that, because it brings back memories; so I found it to be more disrespectful, because he knew what I had been through.”

She said that she decided not to press charges because she “didn’t want to cause problems” and that she thought that the alleged incident would be “a first and last.”

She went on to say that although they have tried and failed at reconciling, Mos doesn’t want to let her go. “He won’t sign the papers,” said Wyatt-Smith. “He told my lawyer if he can’t have me, nobody else will.”

At press time, Mos Def had yet to comment on her allegations.

OBIE TRICE LEAVES SHADY RECORDS !!!!

HOPE OBIE COMES BACK ON THE INDEPENDENT CIRCUIT AND RELEASES A HOT ALBUM....DUDE GOT TALENT!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Detroit MC Obie Trice has called it quits with Shady Records. Conflicting reports are saying that he was either dropped from or left the label on his own volition but reason for the split has yet to be confirmed.

In a display of possibly deliberate irony, Trice released the track “Giant” which speaks to the current situation with the label on Sunday (June 29). “Well, no more Shady. Guess it was meant/For me to branch off from my Caucasian friend/Nope, no more 2nd place to Eminem/Question if I was 2nd is the question to many men/No disrespect to Em, he’s first/Anything after, research the verses,” says Trice.

Trice then expressed his displeasure with Interscope saying, “I murdered e’ything when I wore the Shady logo/O is a mogul/Low on the totem pole ‘cause Interscope’s loco/Now I’m getting mo’ dough.”

After joining Shady Records in 2000, Trice was introduced to the mainstream audience through D12’s “Devil’s Night.” He moved on to release his debut “Cheers” in 2003 which was certified platinum by the RIAA. 2006’s “Second Round’s On Me,” however, failed to match the success of it’s predecessor.

The fate of Trice’s third release, “Bottom’s Up,” has yet to be known being that he is now without a record deal.

DJ SCRATCH LEAVES EPMD!!!

After over 20 years of being the backbone of the legendary EPMD, DJ Scratch has announced a shocking split from the group.Scratch detailed the circumstances that have led to the current rift and why he will not be participating in any form, on the group’s forthcoming album and shows.
“I had been finding out through my peoples that Eric Sermon and Parrish Smith have been doing shows and recording an album without me,” Scratch explained. “Then I’m getting emails from fans telling me that Eric said on stage I’m not there because ‘I’m missing flights.’ And I’m like ‘c’mon E that’s not f**king cool.’ I’ve never missed a flight in my whole career.” As with many groups, Scratch stated his absence from the group’s reunion stems from money issues.
“Eric doesn’t want to split the money three ways,” DJ Scratch claimed. “And that’s fine, but be a man about it. We’re supposed to be a crew. Don’t lie and make me seem incompetent and disrespectful to the fans.”
EPMD is one of the most consistent groups in Hip-Hop history, with five successive gold selling albums from 1988-1997, and such classic singles as “It’s My Thing,” So Wat Cha Sayin’,” “Rampage,” and “Crossover.”
Fans know this is not the first time the group has had a public dispute, as the collective split on acrimonious terms in 1993. According to Scratch, despite a reunion those tensions remain unresolved. “I’m cool with both of them [but] with the first breakup, Parrish was the problem and now after the reunion, Eric’s the problem. They don’t like each other but with any group [when] the members don’t get along, you just don’t see that s**t. When you’re on stage you’re not supposed to show that s**t because you’re there for the fans. EPMD’s new album will have no cutting, scratching, or production contributions from DJ Scratch, who since his days in the group has produced for a number of artists, including 50 Cent, Jay-Z, DMX, Talib Kweli, The Roots and numerous others. Since the other members have not made an announcement, Scratch feels it is only fair to the fans and his reputation to clarify the situation.
“If the album came out and I ‘m not on there, the obvious question will be ‘where’s Scratch?” he reasoned. “I think the reason they’ve not said anything is they know the fans wouldn’t be f**king with them like that without me. It’s like Run DMC without Jam Master Jay, we’re a three member group. Eric has the money issue, but I don’t think he realizes he’d make more money together than apart.”
Still, despite the alleged professional betrayal Scratch, is open to working with Smith and Sermon in the future.
“This is only permanent if they want it to be that way,” Scratch said diplomatically. “I make more money on my own than with EPMD. I came back with them for Hip-Hop and the fans, money isn’t an issue for me.”
In the meantime, Scratch will being doing a collaboration album with fellow boardsmith DJ Premier. He’ll also be producing on upcoming albums from Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J.

NAS SIGNS A DEAL WITH FILA !!!

DAMN I REMEBER BACK IN THE DAY WHEN I USED TO ROCK FILA....BUT STILL TILL THIS DAY I GOT SOME SNEAKERS, T SHIRTS AND SWEAT SUITS....I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE NEW LINE NAS WILL BE WEARING.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nas has inked a one-year partnership with athletic apparel company Fila, Billboard reports.Fila will offer reciprocal financial support for Nas’ print and TV ad campaign as well as his upcoming tour in support of his untitled album, due July 15 via Def Jam. In return, the MC will wear Fila products and co-create an apparel line that draws from fashions of the late ’80s.

“My best friend Will and I loved Fila,” Nas tells Billboard. “It represented prestige and everything that was cool to us. When Will passed, we buried him in a black Fila sweat suit, so doing a deal with them has a lot of significance for me.”

According to Fila president John Epstein, it was a natural match. “One of my executives spotted Nas shopping in our Manhattan store and struck up a conversation with him,” Epstein says. “Nas isn’t interested in selling out. He’s interested in being true, and that fits with our brand.”

NEW TRACKLISTING FOR NAS ALBUM PLUS.....

Nas’ release date for his new album is quickly approaching as execs have finally settled on July 15. Now the Queens rapper has finally exposed his new track listing to the public.

With 15 tracks, the new album includes songs with Chris Brown, The Game, Keri Hilson and Busta Rhymes.

The first official single and accompanying video “Be A Nigger Too,” was launched on June 9. The single’s follow up is reported to be “Hero” featuring Keri Hilson.

As previously reported, Nas faced a barrage of backlash over the album’s first official title, “Nigger.” Although he claimed that his change of heart was not due to the controversy, Nas eventually decided to changed the name to “Untitled.”

Most recently music icon Stevie Wonder voiced his opposition to the album title saying, “I'm not with the word only in that we had buried the word and it should have been buried. People say, 'Well we use it for fun and whatever.' I'm not really feeling it and I know sometimes it comes in conversation... For all the pain that has happened over the years, what that word brings up, it needs to go away.”

See below for the full track listing.

1. Queens Get the Money
2. You Can't Stop Us Now (feauring Eban Thomas and The Last Poets)

T.I'S ALBUM GETS PUSHED BACK !!

“A Better Day,” the rumored second single from T.I.’s “Paper Trail,” has been leaked, according to aceshowbiz. The unconfirmed single began streaming the Internet a few days ago and started speculation about whether the track would even be included on the album.

Conflicting reports are citing either “A Better Day” or “On Top Of The World” featuring Kanye West as the actual second single from the highly anticipated album.

The first single, “No Matter What,” was first released on April 29 via T.I.’s website. It wasn’t until May 9 that the single hit iTunes. The accompanying video is scheduled to premiere on June 27 on FNMTV.

Originally scheduled to hit stores on August 12, the release of “Paper Trail” has reportedly been pushed back to September 12. At press time, there had been no comments on the leak or the delay of Tip’s album.

50 CENT INTERVIEW!!!

COMMONS ALBUM PUSHED BACK....

Common´s highly anticipated new album “Invincible Summer” has been pushed back to the fall.

His eighth solo album was originally scheduled for a release next month but the Chicago bred rapper recently revealed that the album will be hitting shelves on September 23rd.

The up-tempo “Universal Mind Control (U.M.C.)” was selected as a first-single for Common’s new set.

"This is the type of music I felt was missing from my body of work," says Common about the Neptunes produced song that features Pharrell Williams in its chorus. "I created this music for the summertime. It's about feeling good.”

The Neptunes and Outkast producer Mr. DJ produced the album. Kanye West, who helmed the production on Common's last LP, 2007's "Finding Forever," did not contribute any tracks this time around.

"Kanye was focusing on his 'Glow in the Dark' show, so he hasn't been able to make it to the studio to weigh in," Common says. "But it worked out well, organically. The Neptunes & Mr. DJ came up with a fresh sound for me."

"Invincible Summer" comes one year after "Finding Forever," which has sold 549,000 units to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

KAYNE WEST DEFENDING SOULJA BOY !!

ARE YOU SERIOUS KAYNE!!!!......SOULJA BOY ON SAME LEVEL AS NAS .....SHIT!!!!!...LMFAO !!!!!!!

JUST READ ON AND LAUGH !!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As previously reported Gangster rapper Ice-T and newcomer Soulja Boy are dissing each other. It all started with T saying that Soulja Boy killed Hip-Hop and that the young rapper could "eat a dick". Soulja Boy fired back and told T to shut is mouth.

Now Hip-Hop heavyweight Kanye West joins in and supports Soulja by saying,

"Soulja Boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is ´sposed to be. He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain't Hip Hop then what is? A bunch of wannabe keep it real rappers that ain't even relevant, recycling samples trying to act like it's 96 again and all they do is hate on new shit? Niggas always talk about the golden age but for a 13 year old kid, this is the golden age!!! That song was so dope cause everything he said had a hidden meaning... that's Nas level shit... he just put it over some steel drums which is also some Nas shit if you had the 2nd album cassette with the bonus track "Silent Murder" on it. In closing... new niggas get ya money$$$$$$$$$$ Keep this shit fresh and original.... ain't no fuckin' rules to this shit and that's what real hip hop is to me."

XZIBIT TO BE IN NEW X FILES MOVIE!!!!

Rapper/actor/TV host Xzibit is set to be in the upcoming “X-Files” movie. X (born Alvin Joiner) plays an FBI agent in the second movie based on the popular 1990s TV series.

Although X plays a character that believes in aliens in the new movie, he said that he doesn’t believe in the supernatural beings because black people never get abducted.

According to reports, X says, “I don’t believe in aliens. I don’t think aliens or ghosts like black people. We never get abducted. Our houses never get haunted. It always happens in rural areas, where no ethnic people live. The day I see somebody from South Central Los Angeles say, ‘Man, I got abducted yesterday,’ then I’ll believe it.”

Filming for the movie, “X-Files: I Want To Believe,” took place in Vancouver and ended in March. It is scheduled to hit movie theatres in July.

I dont normally listen to DJ Kay Slay but since he said he was going to address what Jermaine Dupree said about the DJs being dead I had to listen. Kay Slay started off by educating Jermaine on how important they are to the game, then he let loose on Jermaine Dupree. Kay Slay stated the facts that JD fucked up Arista records, they dont exist anymore since JD was in charge, then he moved to virgin records and totally fucked up Virgin. So So def has always sucked and never been respected by anyone. Now he is at Def Jam and you know Def Jam is finished with JD at the helm. Then Kay Slay went on to tell how a few years back JD filed bankruptcy so he aint really balling like he says he is. Then he dropped the bombshell that Jermaine Dupree is Gay and is fucking all the male interns at his labels. Basically he said the romance with Janet is a front. You remember how Janet said JD was her bitch now we know why. Janet was bending Jermaine Dupree over giving it to him with a strap on dildo. Jermaine Dupree is Gay and DJ Kay Slay let it out the bag. Ahahaha watch what you say about the DJ’s.

Just days after footage leaked of Young Buck yelling “fuck G-Unit!” during a live show, an audio recording of the Tennessee rapper pleading with 50 Cent over the phone was released. In the first two parts of the audio recording, which were obtained and posted by Hot 97’s Miss Info, a audibly emotional Buck tried to explain that he wasn’t similar to previous artists who had left G-Unit. “I done said things and I’m aware of some of the things that I have said but I don’t want you to feel like I’m a Game or Smurf or none of them niggas man. Even if you did the worst to me there is nothing I could ever say to you,” said Buck. “I’m that type of nigga. I’m serious. I couldn’t even write a negative rhyme in my mind, in my train of thought about you. I understand I got out of check but I don’t know what to do because it seems once a nigga scar you, it’s hard to heal your wound.”

“I don’t want you to dismember me from the crew,” said Buck. “I’ve not said nothing out here in the media-other than me putting in the statements of ‘I’m my own man creating my own thing,’ but I have never dismembered myself from the family.”

When asked by 50 Cent as to who came up with the idea for Buck to start Cashville records, Buck admitted, “You gave me the idea and that’s what I explain in all my interviews.”

In the second audio clip, Buck spoke to 50 about his financial problems. “My whole goal is to actually get back what I’ve paid for you and hopefully I can actually get that shit back-work out the kinks,” he continued. “I know [Lloyd] Banks and [Tony] Yayo gotta feel a certain way towards me ’cause of the way shit is and just iron shit out and hopefully get back to the G-Unit record. Outside of what I owe you, you got tax time rolling around-and my taxes. I still owe money from last year’s taxes. It’s so many other debts that I’m in for as far as the last year and this year’s about to roll around.”

“I’m confused. I’m handling it wrong,” admitted Buck. “I have gotten out of line with you. I swear to God I have. I’m wrong. A nigga just be confused.”

50 responded to the tirade, seemingly consoling Buck. “You gonna be all right, you hear me. You gotta be able to stay closer to me, Buck, so you don’t fuck up. We’ll fix the shit. You just got to stay closer to the space ’cause there ain’t no-it’s not gonna happen. Shit is different, Buck, and if you don’t stay closer to what’s going on it’s gonna fuck up. Tony’s been the safest one, you know why? He’s been staying closer.” We at Hiphopspy have to say that Buck is like pookie on New Jack City, he basically told 50 Ill suck your Di**. Sad times going on in Hip Hop these days
