COMMON TO CO-STAR IN TERMINATOR 4

FROM DEF SOUNDS.COM
Common continues to challenge himself artistically but not just through his music anymore, after dipping his feet into the acting pool a couple of times, it looks like the Chicago Emcee will be signing on for the Co-Starring role in the next "Terminator" Movie.

According to Variety, The soulful lyricist has been casted into the fourth version of the "Terminator" (Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins) along with Christian Bale (Batman Begins) and Sam Worthington.

The film is supposed to be about John Connor who is now 30 years old, leading the last of the human race against the machines.

As the Co-Star Common character will be one of Connor's close friends, and a freedom fighter.

Common first burst onto the acting scene when he made his debut in the Crime Movie "Smoking Ace's," He's also been in "American Gangsta," and "Street Kingz." Along with "Terminator" he will also be in another movie titled "Wanted."

Despite Commons obvious attempt at establishing himself in Hollywood as a credible actor he is still in the studio working on his 8th studio album which will be titled "Invincible Summer". Unlike his other albums Common takes a left turn with this one and plays with a lot of different styles to bring the summer feel to listeners.

McG will direct the film, which is expected for release in May 2009, and "Invincible Summer" is set to release some time in July. The first single off of this album will be titled "Universal Mind Control"
